ABOUT THE SHOP
We have been providing custom wedding invitations, announcements and business and social stationery to to couples and businesses since 2015. In 2016, we introduced a line of letterpress greeting cards and paper gifts that can be found in boutiques and shops across the country. Our studio is located in downtown Longmont. You can make an appointment to stop by and visit with us, take a look at our presses, shop our paper goods, view our wedding invitation collection, or discuss a project.

Meet Vi
I'm Vi (rhymes with sky!). I am the owner and designer behind Violet Press. I fell head over heels in love with letterpress printing and haven't looked back since. Originally a Chicago girl, I love spending any free time I can get exploring this beautiful state.
Meet Dorothy
This is our main printing press, Dorothy. Dorothy comes from an old newspaper shop in Kansas. She is retrofit with a small motor to help her keep up with demand. Each print is run by hand, one color at a time, one sheet at a time.
Meet Jake
I’m Jake! I joined Violet Press in 2018. As Vi's brother, I officially make Violet Press a family business. I manage our wholesale business. If I'm not at the shop, I am probably fly-fishing, traveling or thinking up another clever pun.
Meet Fluke
This is our shop cat, Fluke! He provides comic relief, makes sure we aren't taking ourselves too seriously, and loves visitors. You can occasionally find him in our back office, but often he prefers to work from home.
